Mexico’s
#1 Mezcal
400 Conejos® is finely crafted from 100% agaves and carries ancient Mesoamerican traditions in every bottle. Our award-winning mezcal is perfectly balanced and smooth with soft hints of wood, sweet notes of cooked agave, and a pleasant smoky finish.

Our Mezcal

Espadín
400 Conejos is produced from 100% Espadín agave and crafted in Oaxaca, Mexico using traditional methods. This award-winning mezcal is well-balanced and smooth with soft hints of wood, sweet notes of cooked agave, and a pleasant smoky finish.

Tobalá
Made entirely in the Oaxacan towns of Tlacolula and Yautepec, this distillation is a special blend of Espadín and Tobalá agaves. Showcasing some of Mexico’s most potent notes of citrus and herbs, this rendition is only enhanced by the natural smokiness of the traditionally cooked agave.

Cuishe
A one of a kind blend of Espadín and Cuishe agaves, carefully harvested and crafted in the renowned towns of Tlacolula and Mihauatlán Oaxaca, Mexico, with subtly sweet agave notes alongside perfectly balanced floral and earthy tones and a lingering trace of smoke.

Our Story
The story of 400 Conejos®, Mexico’s #1 Mezcal, begins with a native Mesoamerican religious tradition that allowed only priests to establish a channel of communication with the gods. To achieve it, they practiced ritual drinking of beverages made from agave. Such drinks were exclusively for religious ceremonies and for the spiritual elite.

What You Need
- 1 ¾ oz 400 Conejos® Mezcal
- Orange slice sprinkled with salt on the side
How To Make It
Serve 400 Conejos® Mezcal neat in a traditional wide-mouthed “veladora” mezcal glass. Take a sip and then a bite of the orange slice.
Sales de Gusano
Sal de Gusano, or worm salt, is rock salt ground with dried chile pepper and agave worms. The agave worms live in agave plants and are fattened on the sweet agave nectar.
